What is your background in theatre?

I took the Musical Theater Program at Grant MacEwan and since then I have been auditioning and doing theater when I can.

What made you decide to audition for LSOH?

I love this show! It's always been a favorite of mine.

What do you like most about this show?

There's too much that I love about this show. But what I like most is the wonderfully talented group of people that I get to work with and share the stage with in this production.

Every show presents its challenges. What aspects of this show do you find most challenging?

The character of Seymour has always had a special place in my heart, but showing his descent into hysteria is probably the most challenging thing because I just want so badly for him to get his "happily ever after". I mean it is a musical after all, Right??

Is this your first, second, etc show with TOWTTBP? How did you find out about TOWTTBP?

This is my fourth show with Two One Way Tickets To Broadway. My first show was Sweeney Todd back in 2009. I had first heard about them when I saw their show Passion in the Edmonton Fringe.

What is your favorite theatre moment?

My favorite theater moment would so far be Beautiful Thing. I loved being able to bare my heart on stage and feel the support of the audience with me, but the reason I love performing is because I love watching theater. And many of my favorite theater moments have been sitting in the audience and feeling my heart race as I witness moments of brilliance on stage.

What role do you play?: Crystal

What is your background in theatre?

I have been involved in musical theatre since elementary school. Performing in various amateur productions has only further developed my love and appreciation for singing, dancing and acting on stage. I have performed in productions such as Oliver!, Guys and Dolls, and a previous production of Little Shop of Horrors!

What made you decide to audition for LSOH?

It has been too long since I have been part of a production, and singing in my car and in the shower just isn't enough! I recently moved to Edmonton, and thought this would be a great opportunity to get my foot in the door of the theatre scene in the city!

What do you like most about this show?

It is a toss up between the intimate number of cast members, which creates a great atmosphere, or the musical numbers! The cast and crew are a fun and motivating group of people who have made this show come alive!

Is this your first, second, etc show with TOWTTBP? How did you find out about TOWTTBP?

I found out about the company through an online source for amateur theatre in Edmonton.This is my first show with TOWTTBP, but hopefully not my last!

What is your background in theatre?

Too much to fit in this little box. I have spent the last 10 years Assistant Directing, Directing and Teaching Drama and Musical theatre at Festival PLace in Sherwood Park.

What made you decide to audition for LSOH?

Martin put a knife to my throat...Actually this is not applicable in my case.

What do you like most about this show?

I love the horror in the story . ..and the comedic edge in the lyrics

Every show presents its challenges. What aspects of this show do you find most challenging?

To keep the stry line believeable with out it becoming cheesey

Is this your first, second, etc show with TOWTTBP? How did you find out about TOWTTBP?

First Show!! I found out about it through Martin Galba.

What is your favorite theatre moment?

When I told the Cast of "Oliver!" that the show was completely sold out .The reaction was priceless!!

What is your background in theatre?

I have been involved in dance most of my life and within the last 6 years, I have dived into the stage managment role and loving every minute of it.

What do you like most about this show?

The music is fantastic and it has always been one of my favorites. I am looking forward to working with this amazing cast and crew.

Every show presents its challenges. What aspects of this show do you find most challenging?

The challenge is what I thrive on, putting all the pieces together from set, props, costumes, lights are always an ongoing challenge but it all comes together, and it's amazing.

Is this your first, second, etc show with TOWTTBP? How did you find out about TOWTTBP?

This is my first show working with TOWTTBP and I am so excited to be doing so. I found out from the Artistic Directors Martin and Nicole. But I have gone to several of the show that they have put on so far. Looking forward to working and seeing many more.

What is your favorite theatre moment?

There is too many to name. But I would have to say opening night has to be my favorite when I am stage managing, the excitement of seeing all the weeks of rehearsal all coming together for a spectacular show.

Sunday, June 19, 2011 (show starts at 2:00 PM; shift starts at 12:45 PM)

Wednesday, June 22, 2011 (show starts at 7:30 PM; shift starts at 6:15 PM)

Thursday, June 23, 2011 (show starts at 7:30 PM; shift starts at 6:15 PM)

Friday, June 24, 2011 (show starts at 7:30 PM; shift starts at 6:15 PM)

Saturday, June 25, 2011 (show starts at 7:30 PM; shift starts at 6:15 PM)

The show plays at La Cite (Theatre), 8627 91 Street, Edmonton.
